We couldn't have found a better suited home for
this very special little boy!

History
Rio was rescued form a PA horse auction as a
long yearling colt.  No one wanted to bid on him
because he was very thin and had cataracts.  He
has since gained weight, and is now a very happy
healthy gelding.  A specialist examined Rio and
found that his cataracts are hereditary and will not
worsen with time.  Since he was born with the
cataracts, Rio doesn't even know that he is "disabled". 
He can still see a limited amount, and is not spooky
at all.  As soon as he comes of age, Rio will be a
very nice riding horse.
