sweetest horse! She leads, loads, and loves any type of
attention and/or work that you ask of her! |

Promise came to us from a PA horse
auction. She arrived with a large shipment of PMU foals and
was extremely sick with strangles and emaciated at a scant
1.5 on the Henneke Scale. Our vet stated that the way her
hip and pin bones stuck out was atrocious. We could hardly
get her to eat, and had to hand feed her until her strength
was back. Sadly two other fillies from Promises shipment
(that went on to other rescues) didn’t make it and had to be
euthanized from complications of strangles. We’re so
thankful that Promise has pulled through she is truly a
tough little filly! Our vet has given Promise a clean bill
of health. She has had a PCR test and is not a carrier for
strangles. You could not ask for a nicer filly. Promise is a
joy to work with and is very beautiful.
Promise is a very easy keeper.
