Barbara is a devoted animal lover and experienced horse owner. She has been involved with horses for most of her life, and has several rescued horses of her own. Barbara enjoys western pleasure and trail riding around her farm. 

     Barbara also brings a vast array of animal rescue knowledge to our board. Barbara is Cofounder of The Fallston Animal Rescue Movement. The FARM began in September 2000, and is a 501(c)3 nonprofit animal rescue organization located in Harford County, Maryland. The FARM helps find homes for some of the dogs and cats who are abandoned, lost, or given up and scheduled for euthanasia at local shelters. 

     Barbara has a Bachelors Degree in Organizational Communications from the College of Notre Dame in Baltimore, and a Fellowship from Hopkins in Managing Organizational Conflict.
